Staff Housing
We are proud to be able to offer colleagues and leaders of The Rimrock Resort Hotel subsidized staff accommodations while they are employed with us. Staff housing arrangements will vary depending on your job level and seniority within the hotel.
Entry-level Housing
$11.00/day
Located on four floors below the guest room floors in the north wing of the hotel, entry-level housing is dorm-style and may accommodate up to four people in a room. These units offer twin beds, a shared washroom with stand-up shower, and a living space with table and chairs. These units are all located near a Common Room, which features a full kitchen and coin-laundry facilities. All utilities and internet are included in the daily rate.
Leadership-level Housing
$16.50/day
Located on Beaver Street in the town of Banff, our leadership accommodations are two-bedroom apartments and may accommodate up to three people total. The rooms offer twin beds, a shared washroom with a shower/bathtub combo, a living room, a kitchen and a balcony. The building includes shared coin-laundry facilities, indoor bike racks and additional storage space. Utilities and Cable TV are included in the daily rate; internet is not included.

One complimentary duty meal at the staff cafeteria each working day. These are hot lunch and dinner buffet meals.

Perks with Fairmont's Mountain Region
The Rimrock is a part of Fairmont's Canadian Western Mountain Region, which means Rimrock employees get access to exclusive perks at the Fairmont resorts in Banff, Lake Louise, Jasper and Whistler. These perks include: discounted room rates at the hotels, discounts on Food & Beverage, discounted golf memberships at Fairmont Banff Springs Golf Course and spa discounts.
Staff Facilities
The Rock - Staff Cafeteria
The Rock is our colleague-only staff cafeteria. Each colleague is entitled to one free hot buffet meal per working day. Our culinary team is committed to making a variety of hot, delicious meals for our staff every day of the year. Each meal includes a build-your-own salad bar from a rotational selection of ingredients. The Rock also offers colleagues unlimited soft drinks, coffee and tea throughout the day.
Additional meals per day can be purchased starting at $2.00 per meal.
Pool & Fitness Centre
Located on the 3rd floor of the hotel, colleagues are allowed to use the guest pool and fitness areas during non-peak hours.
Divas Bar & Lounge
On designated nights, Divas Bar & Lounge is opened to Rimrock colleagues to have a drink, play table games and socialize.
Sports Court
When availability permits, colleagues are welcome to book out the sports court to play a game of Squash or Basketball.
